Carter Jonas is committed to the personal development of every employee, tailored to enable them to maximise their potential and develop a long-term career within the firm.
Much of our training and development is provided in-house and includes a wide variety of topics such as management development, sales negotiation, customer care, presentation skills, time management, assertiveness skills and basic accounting skills. Whilst all of these count towards Continuous Professional Development (CPD) hours, we also organise regular CPD seminars.
Included in our support for ongoing learning and development for all staff, we also support further education from NVQs through to MBAs.
To encourage our people to reach their full potential and ensure their continuous improvement on performance, we have an annual Personal Performance Appraisal (PPA) with the line manager. This includes a personal development plan to support the both the firm's business objectives and the individual's career aspirations.

Claire has over 18 years HR experience, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. With an MSc in Organisational Psychology, Claire has worked as an HR Generalist, primarily within Telecommunications and Engineering, moving to the property sector with Dreweatt Neate in 2002. Claire is responsible for all HR operations within Carter Jonas, and works with the senior executive team to ensure that the firm's people strategies, HR initiatives, and training and development all align with business objectives and make Carter Jonas an employer of choice.
